Memphis Grizzlies vs Utah Jazz Prediction: Grizzlies are unstoppable at home, Jazz struggle against elites

The NBA All-Star Break is nearing and there are a bunch of surprises that will occur before we hit the final quarter of action which will develop into the Postseason. To make matters more interesting, things have spiced up since Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant were shipped to the Western Conference, Talking about the West, in this game, the West’s elite Memphis Grizzlies host Utah Jazz.

The Grizzlies come into this game after losing 109:119 against the Boston Celtics despite a 25 points performance by Ja Morant. This broke a two-game winning streak but Memphis has been awful away from home, and they are on a seven-game road losing streak. However, thanks to 23 wins and five losses record at home, they have accumulated 34 wins and 22 losses. But their overall play hasn’t been all that impressive lately, resulting in nine losses during last 12 games. As has been the norm, Ja Morant leads the team in points and assists and the team has been struggling a bit without their rugged Center Steven Adams. Will this window affect the overall aspirations of the team as the Playoffs come close?

The Jazz comes into the game after defeating the struggling Pacers 123:117 as Lauri Markkanen inserted 29 pointsand 11 rebounds. The Jazz has won two of their last three but in an extended window, they have lost four of their six games. They are among struggling defensive squads but their offense has kept them in the Play-in spot hunt with a record of 29 wins and 30 losses. Lauri Markkanen is having a breakout season and he is set to win the Most Improved Player of the Year Award, constantly scoring over 22 points and collectin 10 or more rebounds consistently. They traded away veteran Point Mike Conley, sharpshooter Malik Beasley, and hustle Forward Jarred Vanderbilt, which has given playing time boost to Colin Sexton and others.

The Jazz and Westbrook haven’t agreed on a buyout yet and the decision may take some time so for now, the major players from earlier core will be in here.
