The Los Angeles Lakers lost all their games at the California Classic, including two in a row in Las Vegas - to Houston (80:99) and Boston (74:88). However, the Lakers bounced back in their next two games, taking two wins over Atlanta (87:86) and Cleveland (93:89).

Much of the Lakers' progress through the Summer League has to do with the addition of Bronny James. In the last two games, LeBron's son has finally started to find the net, scoring 12 and 13 points against Atlanta and Cleveland.

The Bulls also have a colorful character in their lineup - 11th pick of the draft, Matas Buzelis. And so far, the Lithuanian guard has performed better than almost any other rookie in the Summer League. Buzelis is averaging 18.0 points and 2.2 steals per game in four games.

As for the results, the Bulls have won two of their four games. They lost to Golden State (82:92) and Detroit (77:85) but beat Milwaukee (96:89) and Atlanta (103:99 in overtime).

Bronny James has improved as the tournament has progressed, but his prospects are still a bit of a long shot. The same goes for the Lakers' prospects in this Summer League despite two wins in a row. Matas Buzelis, on the other hand, looks like a player ready for an NBA team's main rotation. The Lithuanian will help Chicago win the upcoming game.
