Golden State Warriors vs Utah Jazz Prediction: The Warriors are impenetrable at home

The NBA Regular Season is on and we have witnessed a lot of incredible battles these days. As we move towards the midseason, there are a lot of scenarios to keep in mind as trades, injuries, and fatigue will all play a crucial role. To add to the lore of the Regular Season, the Golden State Warriors are going to take on the Utah Jazz.

The Warriors are coming into the game after defeating the Hornets 110:105 as Klay Thompson scored 29 points and this marked the second straight win for Golden State. Before winning these two games, Golden State had lost seven of its last nine games. They have been playing without Stephen Curry who was having another spectacular year before his injury. Jordan Poole has taken the major responsibilities offensively but Klay Thompson will need to up his game. Soon Andrew Wiggins is going to be back which will bolster the team’s set-up. Draymond Green has been a strong defender but his offensive limitations mean that the Warriors’ frontline remains lean.

The Jazz comes into the game after losing 122:126 against the Spurs despite 32 points and 12 rebounds performance by Lauri Markkanen. The Jazz has had a more than decent season, winning 19 and losing 17 after a stunning 10 wins and three losses start. The Jazz has scored 120+ in the last three games and has one of the best offenses in the league with a deep Guard rotation. The trouble is that their lack of size has hurt them too much and they have also given up 120+ repeatedly this season. Therefore, they lost their way against strong teams away from home. Will the Jazz make some trades or test the water with the current core?

The Warriors are going to be the favorites at home but Klay will most probably not play here which means the Jazz can have a sniff here. The trouble is that the Jazz is no more the early-season squad that was able to sneak out a bunch of wins. The Jazz has more shooting options but their play away from home remains questionable. I believe the scoreline will be 120:116 either way, this is too close to call.
