Golden State Warriors vs Detroit Pistons Prediction: Warriors are magical at home

The NBA Regular Season has been on and we are still a long way away from the heated window of the Playoffs. Midseason trends suggest that we are going to see one of the most record-breaking seasons ever. Luka had a 60 points triple-double, Donovan Mitchell had 71 while LeBron James keeps beating Father Time and can end up overtaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar soon. Anyway, in this game, the Golden State Warriors are going to take on the Atlanta Hawks.

The Warriors enter the game after defeating the Hawks in a 143:141 Double Overtime thriller as Kevin Looney made the game-winning putback. This was the fifth straight win for the Warriors after they had undergone seven losses in nine games. All of these wins were at home and with three more games to come at home, Golden State’s record can get way above the 50% win mark. Jordan Poole has been in incredible touch whereas Klay Thompson had 54 in the last game.

The Pistons come into this game after losing 106:135 against the Trail Blazers despite a 21 points performance by Bojan Bogdanovic. The Pistons have won two of their last four games which is a rare case this season. As a result of the inflow of losses, Detroit has lost 30 and has won just 10 games, making for just a 25% win record. It is clear Detroit is heading for the lottery despite a 20+ points scoring season from Bojan Bogdanovic. The team has been playing without Cade Cunningham for a long time too and he may not feature this season at all.

The Warriors have been in great shape at home and their depth has finally come to rescue them. Coach Kerr has gotten some great minutes out of Donte DiVincenzo whereas having Draymond Green continues to fuel the defensive end. The Pistons have been decent lately but they will be coming in as massive underdogs in this game. I believe the Warriors will win here with a scoreline of 129:112.
