The NBA Preseason is now in its final stages and this has been another excellent exhibition. However, this is not the real deal by any stretch and the high-powered action will go to another level when the situation shifts to the Regular Season in just a few days. In this Preseason game, the Golden State Warriors are going to clash against the Denver Nuggets in the inter-Conference affair.

The stars for the Golden State Warriors are shining bright like their runs in the last decade and they are back to being the team to beat. They captured the title last season in an amazing run, where Steph Curry did his usual fire stuff, but it was more than that, it was something way more special. Andrew Wiggins was the difference in most games being the most consistent player while Jordan Poole has taken his game to another level, becoming an All-Star level player.
The usual defense of Draymond Green has been there and then there is another big-time change. James Wiseman is back and he has shown that he is becoming an incredible inside player on both ends of the floor. Klay Thompson was huge last season and will be looking to have a complete season after a long time. Donte DiVincenzo was a great pick-up in the offseason and they are in great shape in terms of depth.
Denver Nuggets
The Nuggets’ depth certainly looks better than last season. The last season for them ended at the hands of the Warriors. But they are back this season with a lot of firepower. They missed the services of Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. and with them back, they have once become a superb two-way squad. Murray will help Jokic supply with a lot of offense while Porter Jr.’s defense is a big factor.
Picking up Kentavious Calwell-Pope makes the perimeter defense better while the bench woes have been addressed with the introduction of Bruce Brown in the lineup, someone who can be up for a big season and can also act as the injury cover for Michael Porter Jr. It will be interesting to see how the Nuggets perform in the Western Conference which as loaded as it can be. Trust me, even with their current unit, they can be in for a long season.

The Warriors will be looking to win another title but a lot will depend upon how their team meshes and of course the role of injuries. And who knows the role of injuries better than the Nuggets, a team that suffered too much last season? The Nuggets fans have had enough of frustration now and will like to see their trio of Jokic, Murray, and Porter Jr. turn the tide. As for this game, I’d pick the Warriors, although you know these Preseason games are tough to predict.
