Denver vs Dallas Prediction: the Mavericks to Fail For the 1st Time

The Nuggets entered the game in Minneapolis riding a four-game winning streak that included victories over the Lakers (119-107), Memphis (108-104), Oklahoma (128-95) and Utah (110-102). But Michael Malone's team failed to extend the winning streak. Moreover, the reigning champions lost over twenty points, 89-110. Nikola Jokic had another great game with 24 points and ten rebounds. But the rest didn't help Joker. Only Jamal Murray earned 14 points, and nobody else in Denver even reached the 10-point mark.

With the loss to Denver, the Mavericks remain the only team in the Western Conference that has yet to lose a game. Dallas opened the season with a 126-119 victory over San Antonio and went on to beat Brooklyn (125-120), Memphis (125-110) and Chicago (114-105).

The standout player on Jason Kidd's team is, of course, Luka Doncic. He is averaging 33.8 points, 9.8 assists and 10.5 rebounds in four matches. That's almost a triple-double per game. But Kyrie Irving has only played in two of the four games, leaving the second role to Tim Hardaway - he averages an excellent 20.3 points.

Dallas is undefeated on the season and has an excellent H2H record against the Nuggets in recent years. Still, Denver appears to be the best team in the NBA, with virtually no weaknesses. The Nuggets are good on both offense and defense and will likely hand the Mavericks their first loss of the season on their home court. We like Denver for a TU game, as they have been really into that, being third in the league in defensive efficiency.
