After three straight losses, the squad picked up two wins - over Washington (115:111) and Dallas (144:115). However, in their last game, they lost again on the road to Atlanta 122:123 (110:110) in overtime. In all, Chicago has only 11 wins in 26 games since the start of the season and is out of the Eastern Conference playoff spot.

The Knicks are starting to look like the team they were the previous season. That team had the league's best defense and even managed to make the playoffs, something they haven't done in years. New York comes into this meeting with Chicago with four straight wins. They have beaten Cleveland, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Sacramento. The Knicks have allowed less than 100 points in three of those four meetings.

New York has been showing the familiar concrete defense of Tom Thibodeau's teams of late. Naturally, Chicago, which has been very unstable in this league, could have severe problems in their upcoming game. It is unlikely that the Bulls should be the favorite here, as the bookmakers do.
