In the paint, the team defended well, conceding just 40 points from that area.

In the last face-to-face meeting with their current opponent, Brooklyn threw just 25 three-pointers; now, they have the opportunity to increase this figure significantly, and at the same time to increase their completion percentage. The Nets are experiencing fewer losses, with LaMarcus Aldridge returning and Drummond and Claxton ready to play.
