Lithuania vs Czech Republic Prediction: Motivation to Play a Key Role

The Lithuanian national team has won all five matches in the current qualification for the World Cup. Will the Lithuanians end the group stage with a maximal result? Let's choose several bets.

Lithuania is very confident in this group stage of qualification for World Cup 2023, confirming its status as one of the strongest. However, it is worth noting the low level of their rivals: apart from the Czech Republic, are Bosnia and Bulgaria. The Lithuanians had no worthy opponent.

In the previous game, the team, under of new Žalgiris coach Kazys Maksvytis, had beaten Bulgaria 72-70 on the road. The Lithuanians played excellent basketball - 11 their players managed to score.

The Czech Republic got off to a poor start in the group stage, losing the first three games. But then they got back in the race for a World Cup ticket. At the end of February, the Czechs defeated Bulgaria 83-80. In their first match of the summer they dealt with the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina - 93-81. NBA point guard Tomas Satoranski made a double-double with 13 points and 10 assists. The only thing left is to show themselves well in the upcoming game in Klaipeda, and the Czechs will continue to fight for the right to play in the World Cup. 

The Lithuanians do not need anything in the upcoming match. The team secured the next round place and booked first place in the group stage standings. That means the Czech Republic, led by the excellent Tomas Satoransky, have a good chance of success. Moreover, for the Czechs this game is of the utmost importance.

The Czech Republic will impose serious resistance on Lithuania. Perhaps, they will be even close to winning.
