Greece vs Italy Prediction: Will the Greeks Win in a Convincing Way?

Greece and Italy won their matches in the first round of the European Championship group stage. Who will manage to get a second victory in a row? Let's pick a few bets at once. 

The Greek-Croatian final score didn't quite reflect what was happening on the court. Dimitrios Itoudis' team was dominating, led by 20 at one point and, only in the closing stages of the game, won by 89-85. The Greeks' desire to save their effort was understandable - the tournament was just beginning.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Tyler Dorsey were the most productive players for Greece in their game against Croatia, scoring 27 points each.

The Italians started the home group stage of the European Championship against not the strongest opponent, the Estonian team. Obviously, Italy had no problem in getting an acceptable result. 83-62 - Simone Fontecchio earned 19 points and Nicolo Melli had 17 points. The opponent in the first game was uncompetitive, but the beginning of the tournament for Gianmarco Pozzecco's team could be described as great. 

In their opening game against Croatia, the Greeks confirmed their status as one of the main EuroBasket favorites. The home court is the only thing in Italy's favor in the upcoming match. In other aspects, Greece is simply stronger. Dimitrios Itoudis's wards will likely win more convincingly than they did during their meeting with Croatia. The prediction is a confident victory for Greece.
