However, the Kansas City Royals have ended their run of defeats, seven, and will now look to make it consecutive wins in this series. 

The Kansas City Royals are still the better team in this game 2, and I expect them to win. The Washington Nationals did a very good job in defense in the opener, but I expect an open game 2; hence, I expect many runs in this game.
