In that regard, games against the National League West outsider Colorado Rockies are always a great opportunity for Gabe Kapler's team to redress the balance. This time, however, the home showdown with the Rockies is looking very difficult for San Francisco. The Giants only managed to win the second game in extra innings (2-1), and lost the first game, 3-5. The Giants now have 30-25; the Padres, 35-22; and the Dodgers, 36-20.
