The Washington Nationals will look to turn the tables following a poor start to this series. In the first two games, the Washington Nationals scored 13 runs but conceded 16. However, prior series by the Washington Nationals to this have been decent as they defeated the Detroit Tigers, Miami Marlins, and the Atlanta Braves, with their lone defeat being against the Arizona Diamondbacks. In the MLB this season, Arizona Diamondbacks have a 38-41 record, positioning them 9th in the National League standings. 

The Washington Nationals were strong in both first two games of this series, and despite losing, I feel this team has a chance in this one. However, the San Diego Padres have scored 16 runs in the first two games here, and in this one, they could be another side to watch out for. This should be a competitive game, but the Washington Nationals have my backing here.
