Philadelphia Phillies would have hoped for a better opener, having come in as a decent favorite. However, this game also comes in their favor, and they will look to step up this time. However, the Philadelphia Phillies, prior to this series, saw them defeat the Detroit Tigers, winning 1-8 in the opener while losing 4-1 in game 2. However, the Philadelphia Phillies were brilliant in the finale as they pulled off a 2-6 win. Heading into this series, the Philadelphia Phillies have not lost any of their last three series. 

Miami Marlins will look to keep things going in this series following a 4-7 win in the opener. However, the prior series to this one saw the Miami Marlins lose to the Kansas City Royals, winning only game 2 in a 1-2 encounter while losing the opener and the finale. Miami Marlins have a 29-52 record at the moment, leaving them in the bottom spot of the National League East Division. 

I am backing the Philadelphia Phillies in game 2. The Miami Marlins were brilliant in the opener, but I am not a fan of them, considering how weak they have been all season. Therefore, looking at the pitching staff here, I believe the Miami Marlins will have no chance here, with the Philadelphia Phillies winning by a good margin.
