Philadelphia Phillies vs Arizona Diamondbacks Prediction: Diamondbacks won't give up yet

On Wednesday, playoff action in Major League Baseball takes place at Citizens Bank Park and features game two of the National League Championship Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Arizona Diamondbacks. In the first game, Philadelphia rallied from a two-run deficit to come out on top. Do you believe that the Diamondbacks have a chance to make things even here?

After taking game one of this series on Tuesday, the Philadelphia Phillies enter game two in excellent form and looking to extend their lead. Nick Castellanos and Kyle Schwarber each hit single home runs, and Bryce Harper drove in two runs with his home run and went 2 for 3 at the plate with a pair of RBIs. Trea Turner was 2 for 4 with a double, and J.T. Realmuto added an RBI of his own to cap off the scoring for the Philadelphia Phillies in their victory, while Realmuto also drove in a run for the Phillies. In addition, Josh Rojas contributed a double to the Philadelphia Phillies' offense, while Brandon Marsh added a base knock to complete the Phillies' offensive output in their victory. Zack Wheeler earned the victory for the Philadelphia Phillies by pitching a scoreless sixth inning, allowing only three hits while striking out eight batters. Craig Kimbrel recorded his third save of the postseason by finishing off the ninth inning. Aaron Nola will get the start here. He is undefeated in the postseason with a 2-0 record, a 1.42 ERA, and 12 strikeouts. 

The Arizona Diamondbacks come into this game wanting to get back on track after suffering a loss in the first game of this series by a score of 5-3 on Tuesday. In spite of the fact that the Arizona Diamondbacks ended up losing the game, they were able to score thanks to a home run by Gerardo Perdomo that drove in two runs and an RBI sacrifice fly by Alek Thomas. Corbin Carroll, Ketel Marte, and Evan Longoria carried the Arizona Diamondbacks' offense, each of whom collected a hit despite the fact that the team as a whole only managed four hits in the game that they lost. In five innings of work, Zac Gallen was responsible for the loss since he gave up five runs on eight hits while striking out four batters. My money is on the Arizona Diamondbacks to win this one. After pitching so brilliantly in the postseason, Nola is bound to have a poor outing at some point, and the Diamondbacks keep delivering quality performances, but I simply can't shake the idea that Nola is due to have one. Give me the Arizona Diamondbacks and the plus money here because I believe the game is about to reach the stage where it is more likely to be decided by a coin flip than it is right now based on where the line is.
