Heading into this game, the New York Mets have a 40--39 record, leaving them 7th spot in the National League standings.

The Houston Astros will look to take something in this series following a defeat in the opener. However, their prior series to this saw the Houston Astros secure consecutive wins, defeating the Colorado Rockies, Baltimore Orioles, and Chicago White Sox. In the MLB this season, the Houston Astros have a 40-41 record and are seated 2nd in the American League West Division. 

These are two competitive and in-form sides, and we can not expect any poor play from them. Judging from what we saw in game one, I believe the Houston Astros can even do things, but an offensive game is more decent to bet on.
