Los Angeles Dodgers vs San Diego Padres Prediction: The Padres will try to beat the Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers have beaten San Diego twice in a row in a home-and-home series. Can the Padres get revenge in game three? 

There can be no doubt about the Los Angeles Dodgers winning their National League West division. Especially after two straight wins over San Diego. The team is now 14.5 wins ahead of the Padres. The only thing the Dodgers will be fighting for at the end of the regular season is a win in the entire conference. Even there, though, the Los Angeles lead over the second-place New York Mets is quite large at 5.5 wins.

Tyler Anderson will pitch for the Dodgers in Game 3 of the series at Dodger Stadium, 12-1, with a 2.89 ERA in 18 starts in this championship.

The Padres were unable to compete with the Dodgers. Juan Soto, Josh Bell, and Brandon Drury begin their history against Los Angeles with a failure (1-8, 3-8). San Diego has finally ended their prospects of fighting for the top spot in the division and will only claim the wild card. The Padres are still in the top 6, but with a handicap of just 1.5 wins.

Yu Darvish will pitch for San Diego in the upcoming game, 10-4, and a 3.30 ERA in 20 games this season.

A third straight loss to the Dodgers is unlikely to be part of San Diego's plans. It's not sure that the Padres will beat the Dodgers in this meeting - Dave Roberts' team has been looking pretty good lately. However, they could at least make life difficult for the offense with Yu Darvish.
