Minnesota managed not to lose in Boston
The Twins have yet to win a single series in the new season. However, they have also only lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers, 2-7 at home, 0-7. But at home against Seattle (1-2, 3-4, 10-4, 4-0) and on the road against the Red Sox (8-4, 0-4, 1-8, 8-3) Rocco Baldelli's team managed to finish their encounter 2-2. The Twins' starting pitcher for the first game of the series with the Royals is the experienced Chris Archer. The 33-year-old former Tampa Bay and Pittsburgh pitcher had no hits in 4.1 innings against the Los Angeles Dodgers (2-7) in his debut game in the new championship.
