Kansas City Royals vs San Diego Padres Prediction: Padres have my backing

Kansas City Royals and San Diego Padres will square it off at Kauffman Stadium in game 2 of a four-game series. Let’s look at this game from a betting perspective and make a prediction. 

Kansas City Royals have not been impressive in recent times and will look to end their poor performances. Starting the series with an 8-11 defeat, the Kansas City Royals have moved to the 4th spot in the American League. However, it is worth noting that this side has a 1-5 record in its last matches, as they lost to the Tampa Bay Rays and Minnesota Twins in that run. 

The San Diego Padres will look to keep things rolling here following a bright start to this series. In game one, this team secured an 8-11 win and then comes into this one as a favorite. In a recent series, the San Diego Padres lost only to the New York Yankees but defeated Miami Marlins, Cincinnati Reds, and Atlanta Braves. San Diego Padres have a 31-29 record and are seated 5th in the National League standings. 

This should be another offensive game, regardless of which side wins. These two teams are presently one of the best sides in the MLB right now and we have seen a number of top quality play from their attackers. Also, the Padres looked very sharp in game one, and despite being on the road, I feel they also get this as a favorite.
