However, the Detroit Tigers have only one defeat in their last eight matches, a 7-1 defeat in their opener against the Orioles. 

The Tampa Bay Rays will hope to get things right in this game 2, having started the opener with a one-run defeat. However, the prior encounters to that defeat saw the Tampa Bay Rays secure four consecutive matches, defeating the Boston Red Sox and securing a sweeping win against the Toronto Blue Jays. The Tampa Bay Rays have a 78-79 record this season, leaving them seated 10th in the American League. 

I feel the Tampa Bay Rays have a chance in this game two as they were not too poor in the opener. However, as home winners in the opener, the Detroit Tigers will feel confident and draw momentum in this game. Yet, while this could be a similar low-scoring game like the opener, I am backing the Tampa Bay Rays to get the job done this time.
