In the American League Central Division, Detroit Tigers are seated 4th in the standings, pulling off a 0.500 percentile. 

On the mound in this opener, Reese Olson will get the start for the Detroit Tigers. This year, Olson is 1-6 with a 2.48 ERA and 52 Ks in 61.2 innings over 11 starts. 

Milwaukee Brewers are coming off a series defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia Phillies. The Milwaukee Brewers lost 3-1 and 2-1 in games one and two in that series. However, the Milwaukee Brewers failed to step up in the finale, losing 2-0 again. However, the Milwaukee Brewers’ prior series to that defeat saw them win five straight games, defeating the Cubs and Chicago White Sox in that run. This season, the Milwaukee Brewers have a 36-26 record in the MLB, which sees them take the top spot in the National League Central Division. 

The Detroit Tigers are worth taking a chance on following a solid performance against the Texas Rangers. However, the Milwaukee Brewers have been the better side all season, and despite their poor performance against the Phillies, I still expect more from them here. This should be a low-scoring one, and while being slightly favored, I am backing the Milwaukee Brewers to winning.
