Detroit Tigers vs Cleveland Guardians Prediction: The Guardians can't afford to lose again to Tigers

Cleveland has lost three straight road games to Detroit. Will the Guardians be stronger in game four? Several betting options are available.

The team is behind the wild-card in the American League by a respectable 11.5 wins. Detroit's regular-season playoff hopes aren't exceptionally high. After defeating the Guardians three times a row, the Tigers improved to 6:2 on the season.

Detroit's pitcher for the fourth game of their home series with Cleveland is Michael Pineda, 1-3, with a 3.62 ERA in six starts this season.

Detroit is a good-looking team but an underdog in the AL Central Division. Cleveland is fighting with Minnesota to win this quintet, and the underdogs are certainly not helping the Guardians in that fight. Cleveland has 40-39 after three straight losses in Detroit. And Minnesota has 46-37.

Shane Bieber will pitch for Cleveland in the upcoming game, going 3-4 and having a 3.16 ERA in 15 games. Bieber has eight consecutive quality starts.

The Guardians can't lose to Detroit in game four of their road series, either. The 11 runs conceded in game three will surely be the bottom from which Cleveland will bounce back. Especially with Shane Bieber on the pitching hill.
