Colorado Rockies vs Washington Nationals Prediction: Nationals to win this finale

The finale of an MLB series between the Colorado Rockies and the Washington Nationals will take place at Coors Field. After the first two games, we witnessed a split win. How will this finale end?

Colorado Rockies will look to pick their first series win since May when they defeated the Cleveland Guardians. In the meantime, their recent series saw this team lose to the Los Angeles Dodgers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Minnesota Twins, St Louis Cardinals and the Cincinnati Reds. While they did well to overturn their opening loss with an 8-7 win in game 2 of this series, the Colorado Rockies record this season has improved to 27-50, leaving them in the bottom spot of the National League West Division.

Washington Nationals will hope for a better result in this finale, following an unlucky result in game 2. However, this team pulled a 6-run win in the opener in a 5-11 encounter. In the meantime, the prior series played by the Washington Nationals saw them defeat the Miami Marlins, Detroit Tigers, and Atlanta Braves but then lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks. This season, the Washington Nationals have a 37-39 record, leaving them 3rd in the National League East Division. 

The Washington Nationals have my backing in this finale, looking at the performances of the two sides. Sure, this looks like an even one, but the Colorado Rockies do not look strong enough, and while their prior series have ended with many runs, I expect a similar result here.
