Colorado Rockies vs New York Mets Prediction: Mets to win this series

The Colorado Rockies have a chance to secure a win in this series following a number of poor performances. In the opener, the Colorado Rockies started strong with a 6-3 win. However, this team failed to live up to expectations in game 2, losing 3-5. Yet, prior series to this saw the Colorado Rockies lose to the San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants, with their lone series win being against the Los Angeles Angels. The Los Angeles Angels currently have a 42-73 record as they are seated bottom of the National League.

The New York Mets leveled this series after a three-run defeat in the opener. In game 2, the New York Mets scored five runs while holding the Rockies to three. However, the New York Mets have struggled in recent series as they lost to the Los Angeles Angels in a prior series and the Atlanta Braves. Yet, they were able to secure wins over the St. Louis Cardinals in a quick one game, while they defeated the Minnesota Twins. This season, the New York Mets have a 60-54 record and are seated 7th heading into this game in the National League. 

This game should end in the Mets’ favor. The Colorado have been brilliant in this series, but the New York Mets are just ahead and even though this could be a high-scoring game like their first two games, a bet on the New York Mets winning by two runs looks very certain.
