The Miami Marlins are coming off a series against the Chicago Cubs. In that series, the Miami Marlins were too poor as they lost the first two games, ending 3-6 and 2-14. However, this team did well to avoid being swept, thanks to a 7-2 win in the finale, their second win in 11 consecutive matches, one other coming against the New York Mets. In their last series, the Miami Marlins have lost to the Cincinnati Reds, San Diego Padres, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Mets, and Arizona Diamondbacks, with their last win being against the Atlanta Braves.

This is an open encounter for both teams, and it is tough to write off either team. At home, the Colorado Rockies should get the nod, but the Miami Marlins performances in this fixture are on another level. At the moment, neither side is playing beautiful baseball, and I expect more focus on defensive play. Therefore, a win for the Rockies at home with a bet on a few runs is a good option to consider.
