This is the first game of the preseason on the NFL schedule for the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers. The last time these two teams met, however, wasn’t all that long ago.The 49ers secured an NFC Wild Card position, beating the Dallas Cowboys to make it to the divisional round. For their part, the Packers were tied atop the 2021 NFL standing and won the NFL North division.
