Carolina vs New England: The Panthers defence will cause problems for the opponent but won’t help win the game

Bill Belichick’s team is performing much better this season than last. It’s all about the Patriots finding the right quarterback. Mac Jones is capable of playing the way Belichick needs to play. The rest is just a matter of working hard and progressing. The rookie will eventually return to New England the contender status.

At the end of Week 8, the Patriots are 4-4 and just one win behind the very strong Buffalo Bills in the AFC East division table. Boston come into the matchup with Carolina with two wins in a row and three wins in their last four games. During that stretch, New England lost only in overtime to the Dallas Cowboys, beat outsiders Houston and the New York Jets, and managed a 27-24 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers last Sunday.

The Pats have made excellent progress and, led by one of the greatest coaches in football history, are unlikely to plan to stop. Carolina, as it stands today, are hardly an opponent that can handle the Patriots. Yes, thanks to their defensive play, the team will likely keep the intrigue alive until the end, but Boston will still surely prove stronger. Bill Belichick’s team will still give everyone a head start on the little things that help them succeed.
