WTA BNP Paribas Open draw has been revealed and there are some intriguing match-ups to kickstart the tournament. In one of the major storylines, former multiple-time Grand slam winner and two times BNP Paribas Open winner Kim Clijsters has received a wildcard and will tussle it out versus Katerina Siniakova, who is ranked at 53 right now. The winner of the Clijsters-Siniakova battle will meet Angelique Kerber in the next match.
Karolina Pliskova will enter the tournament as the first seed while Iga Swiatek has been seeded as number two. Barbora Krejcikova is the third seed and Elina Svitolina is the fourth seed. This is also going to be the BNP Paribas Open debut for US Open winner Emma Raducanu.
