Just four players left and now the potential champion of the WTA BNP Paribas Indian Wells Open is just two wins away from the title. In the first match, Belarusian Victoria Azarenka will face-off versus Latvian Jelena Ostapenko. In the second game, Spanish Paula Badosa will take on Tunisian Ons Jabeur.
Victoria Azarenka marches into the round after winning all of her games in two sets, including a walkover by Magda Linette in the Round of 64. Azarenka has beaten Petra Kvitova, Aliaksandra Sasnovich, and Jessica Pegula to reach the Semis.
Jelena Ostapenko advances after beating Hsieh Su-Wei, Yulia Putintseva, Iga Swiatek, and Shelby Rogers. Ostapenko had to grind out three sets victories versus Rogers and Putintseva.
Ons Jabeur has claimed 48 wins in this WTA season. She reached the Semi-Finals after overcoming Anastasija Sevastova, Danielle Collins, Anna Kalinskaya, and Anett Kontaveit. All the wins came in two sets except a Round of 64 battle versus Anastasija Sevastova.
Paula Badosa reached the Semi-Finals after coming on top versus Dayana Yastremska, Coco Gauff, Barbora Krejcikova, and Angelique Kerber. She triumphed in all the games in two sets except the opening match versus Dayana Yastremska.
