She dominated Pegula in receiving points, garnering a 39-23 points lead in the department. The service points remained close with Azarenka inching ahead just by a point, gaining 38-37 advantage.
Meanwhile, USA’s Shelby Rogers has engaged in a gutsy battle against Latvian Jelena Ostapenko.
