Indian double superstar tennis player Sania Mirza has decided to retire past the 2022 season after a superb run in both the doubles and mixed-doubles contests. The top-notch doubles player had won Wimbledon doubles. The Wimbledon win came when she paired up with Swiss Martina Hingis. She also won the US and Australian Opens during the 2015 window. She also won the 2009 mixed-doubles in Australian Open and 2012 French Open title. The tennis player announced the decision after she and her doubles partner Kaja Juvan won versus Nadiia Kichenok and Tamara Zidansek.

I've decided that this will be my last season. I'm taking it week by week. Not sure if I can last the season, but I want to.
