Serbia's world number two Novak Djokovic defeated Australian Alexei Popyrin in the third round of the 2024 Wimbledon tournament with a score of 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3).

As a result, Djokovic became the third tennis player to win 50 matches at Grand Slam tournaments after turning 35. The only players with more wins are Australian Ken Rosewall (64) and Swiss Roger Federer (62).
