Serbia's world number one Novak Djokovic defeated Italy's Lorenzo Musetti in the third round of the French Open with a score of 7:5, 6:7 (6:8), 2:6, 6:3, 6:0.

This win marked Djokovic's 369th victory in Grand Slam singles tournaments, equaling the record set by former world number one Swiss athlete Roger Federer.

Furthermore, Djokovic achieved his 36th five-set victory in Grand Slam tournaments, also setting a record.

The French Open tennis championship of 2024 is underway in Paris. Main draw matches will continue from May 26 to June 9.
