Novak Djokovic, the Serbian tennis player with 24 Grand Slam titles, currently ranked fifth in the world, has now set the record for the most victories in Masters tournaments.
In the third round of the tournament in Miami, he defeated Argentina's Camilo Ugo Carabelli (ranked 65th) with a score of 6-1, 7-6 (7-1). After that match, it was revealed that Djokovic has achieved 411 wins in Masters tournaments.
With this victory, he surpassed Rafael Nadal's previous record of 410 wins. It’s noteworthy that the Spanish player announced his retirement from professional tennis last year.
In the quarterfinals of the Miami Masters, Novak Djokovic will face Italian player Lorenzo Musetti.
Earlier, French tennis player Jules Marie, ranked 461st in the world, accused Novak Djokovic of inappropriate behavior during practice sessions.
Additionally, the players' union, founded by the 37-year-old Serbian, has filed lawsuits against the ATP, WTA, ITF, and ITIA.
