Italian tennis player Marco Bortolotti, who successfully proved his innocence in a Clostebol doping case, commented on how the substance affects performance in tennis.
Bortolotti told Ubitennis:
I spoke with a biologist friend who said that if you dope with Clostebol, you're a real idiot because it's not a real steroid that enhances your performance
Bortolotti has won nine ATP titles and achieved his highest career doubles ranking of 97th in the world on July 15, 2024.
Earlier, the ITIA reported that due to the failed tests, Sinner would face a suspension from matches and tournaments starting in April 2024.
Darren Cahill, Sinner's coach, expressed gratitude that the young player was not disqualified.
