Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva, the 102nd ranked tennis player in the world according to the WTA, told journalists how she plans to spend the prize money earned by participating in the Wimbledon tournament-2023.
The 16-year-old Russian finished her participation in the British Grand Slam tournament in the round of 16, losing to American Madison Keys 6:3, 6:7 (4:7), 2:6. In the quarterfinals, the 28-year-old Keys will play against Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus.
I don't have any plans. All the money goes to my parents for now, and they decide what to do with it. Most of it will be used for tennis, for the tickets, for paying the coaches, for everything I need for training. Maybe I'll buy something for myself, but I don't know yet.
