USA’s Jane Brown Grimes who served as second female president US Tennis Association President from 2007 to 2008 has taken her last breath. Her daughter informed the news of her passing. Jane became Managing Director of Women’s Professional Tennis in 1986 which helped in the development of the Women’s Tennis Association(WTA). Jane also got inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame for her work as an executive.
Jane devoted her life to the sport of tennis, and the sport benefited greatly from her intelligence, grace, and dedication. With her unparalleled dignity, Jane grew our sport from the most local grassroots to the highest levels of the professional game. She will be missed.
