As per some reports, Ben Simmons has now declined mental assistance provided by the Philadelphia 76ers. This move has resulted in more frustration for the Sixers Franchise which has been at odds with Simmons since the offseason. Earlier, Ben showed up to the training campaign but didn’t follow instructions from coach Doc Rivers, clearly indicating his willingness to separate from the team.
Ben is not a free agent and the Sixers want too much in exchange for the All-Star Guard. Simmons is not getting along with his teammates either with Joel Embiid earlier saying that the team is not going to “babysit” him but later saying Simmons is still their brother. It seems the drama between the Sixers and Ben will continue to hover all season long unless the Sixers pull off a trade.
