Shakib Al Hasan has claimed back the number one spot in the T20 all rounder list after a successful series against Australia. Hasan nabbed 7 wickets and scored 122 runs during the series as he also bagged the Player of the series award. Australia lost the series 1-4 and this marked the first time when Bangladesh won a bilateral series against the cricketing powerhouse. Australia’s Mitchell Marsh also jumped to the 9th position in men’s all rounder rankings after scoring 156 runs in the series against Bangladesh.
Shakib also became the third player in T20 International cricket to score more than thousand runs and claim more than 100 wickets after Nida Dar and Ellyse Perry, also becoming the first man in International cricket to achieve the feat. Shakib toppled Mohammad Nabi as the number one all rounder.
