New Zealand made short work of Italy, winning 47-9 in the home ground of the Italians. The win at Stadio Olimpico in Rome involved seven tries by the New Zealand side. Dane Coles and Asafo Aamua scored two tries each while Sevu Reece, Hoskins Sotutu, and Finlay Christie scored one try each. For Italy, Paolo Garbisi bagged all the three penalties that helped them score 9 points.
Italy have to take a lot credit for the way they played, they put us under a lot of pressure. Their kicking game was good as well, we dropped a lot of ball back there.
