Georgiy believes it doesn't really matter who they face, as any team in the lower bracket must be prepared to win against anyone:
It doesn’t matter, to be honest. In the lower bracket, you need to be ready to beat all the teams, actually. We were not ready. The only disappointing part is that only the top 8 teams play in the arena with the new format, and it’s a bit upsetting that we didn’t make it there.

1win Team became the first team from Eastern Europe to exit the main Dota 2 tournament of the year. This marked the team’s first TI, where they went home with a 9-12th place finish.
Swedenstrong predicts that Gaimin Gladiators will win The International and will be motivated by last year’s experience:
I was sure Team Spirit would go further, but they did not. Gaimin Gladiators should win TI. They will take their revenge for what happened last year.

The International 2024 (13) will take place from September 4 to September 15 in a LAN format in Copenhagen, Denmark. The final stage of the event will be hosted at the Royal Arena. At the time of this writing, 16 teams are competing in the group stage of the championship.
