Russian figure skater Roman Kostomarov has undergone another finger amputation surgery.
Earlier, the media reported that the 46-year-old athlete suffered amputation of his left foot and fingers due to a lesion of neurosis and sepsis.
It was reported that doctors managed to avoid amputation of his right foot because they scraped away the dead tissue. He also survived a micro stroke.
It was necessary to amputate his fingers. They began to turn black, which meant that the gangrene process of the hand had already begun. If the process continues, the patient will have to have his entire left hand amputated. He is sometimes awake and then falls into a deep sleep. When he wakes up, he eats by himself. When he is conscious, he is sometimes aggressive.
