In a statement to Quest-France, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo announced that the Olympic rings installed on the Eiffel Tower for the recent Summer Olympics in 2024 will not be taken down.
The Olympic Games in the French capital took place from July 26 to August 11.
As the mayor of Paris, the decision is mine and I have the consent of the IOC. So they will remain on the Eiffel Tower.

The Olympic rings were installed on the southern side of the tower on June 7, positioned between the first and second floors at a height of 70 meters. The structure measures 29 meters in width and 13 meters in height. Each ring has a diameter of nine meters, and the total weight of the installation is approximately 30 tons.
