On the night of January 11-12, the major annual HLTV Awards 2024 ceremony took place in Belgrade, celebrating the most significant figures of the year in Counter-Strike 2.
The standout of the evening was 17-year-old Russian esports player Danil "donk" Kryshkovets. He won in four categories: "Player of the Year," "Rookie of the Year," "Best In-Game Highlight of the Year", and "Entry Fragger of the Year."
