Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenko, a professional player for Cloud9, shared his thoughts with Telecomasia.net on adapting to Cloud9, the team's performance, and their objectives for the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Europe RMR A.

According to HeavyGod, his adaptation process has been slow, partly due to language barriers:

I think Cloud9 is a good team overall. My adaptation has been quite slow, I would say it's been challenging because of the language, but I think that’s normal – it will come in time!

Martynenko also mentioned that all Cloud9 members are putting in their best efforts and improving day by day:

I don’t focus on the individual performance metrics or statistics of each player. I just know that everyone is committed and working hard to improve every day, both on the server and outside of it.

The Cloud9 player emphasized that the team will do everything in their power to succeed in the RMR and the major:

Of course, our goal is to qualify for the major, regardless of the unfortunate results we’ve had recently. To win at the major, we need to qualify and take it step by step. We will do everything we can for this!

It’s worth noting that HeavyGod previously played for OG. In July 2024, he joined Cloud9 and continues to compete with the team.

Cloud9 are currently participating in the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Europe RMR A, fighting for a spot in the upcoming major. The RMR tournament for Group A started on November 17, 2024, and will run until November 20, 2024.
