Professional player Igor "Forester" Bezotecheskiy from AMKAL Esports shared his thoughts with Telecomasia.net regarding Kaisar "ICY" Faiznurov's transition to Cloud9.
First, ICY was allowed to undergo testing for Cloud9. Second, no one minded his move. However, there was an awkward moment when our coach reached out to ICY, but he ignored the messages. Svyat wanted to know how the testing process worked and see if we needed to look for a new sniper. So our team had a hard time because of it.

Igor "Forester" Bezotecheskiy emphasized that he always communicated openly about his transfers to the team:
When I wanted to leave teams in the past, I would gather everyone and just talk about my plans. I never tried to hide anything and explained everything like it was so the team wouldn’t be in trouble because of my decisions. In ICY's case, I was on vacation and received all my information from the news. Svyat was completely in the dark at that time. Insiders were already reporting that we were testing players, while we were actually on vacation and not playing at all. When we returned to work, we had only four days left before the LAN tournament in India, and we took shady with us. The player we were supposed to test hadn't even played with us yet.

ICY left AMKAL in early July. Faiznur has been competing on the professional scene since 2020. Throughout his career, the sniper played for teams like AVANGAR and various AMKAL ESPORTS rosters. He and his team finished 23-24 at the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, won the CCT Season 2 European Series #1, and secured 1-2 spots at the RES European Masters Fall 2024.
