Tournament organizer ESL has unveiled the updated schedule of IEM Cologne 2023 for CS:GO.
The information was published on social networks and on the portal Liquipedia. The tournament will have 3 stages: Play-In, group stage and playoffs. 16 teams, including OG, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Team Liquid, will play in the starting matches on July 26.
Eight teams will advance from the Play-In stage. ESL will distribute the teams into two groups. It is already known that Cloud9, Heroic, ENCE and GamerLegion will play in Group A, while Group B will feature Natus Vincere, FaZe Clan, G2 Esports and Team Vitality. Six teams will advance to the playoff stage.
IEM Cologne 2023 will take place from July 26 to August 6 in Germany. 24 teams will play for a prize pool of $1 million as well as a slot at IEM Katowice 2023.
