Colombian cyclist Juan David Cárdenas tragically passed away during training due to a car accident, according to reports from the Portuguese team Portos Windmob.
The JB cycling club deeply mourns the loss of an exemplary and humble young man who contributed so much to the Portos Windmob team. We are in grief. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends. Rest in peace, friend.

Local police indicated that the athlete was riding with his head down and didn’t notice a stationary van, resulting in his immediate death. The incident occurred in Boyacá, Colombia.
