US figure skating coach Dalilah Sappenfield has been suspended for life over allegations of physical and psychological abuse.
In November 2021, the U.S. Center for Sports Safety rescued a 16-year-old figure skater from the home of the U.S. national team coach in Colorado Springs. Note that living with a coach is prohibited for underage athletes by the organization's article. Dalilah was under investigation for two and a half years.
Besides that, Sappenfield is accused of abusing procedures and failing to report potential rule violations.
