Opening cases in CS:GO brings a lot of profit to Valve, but the exact figures have always been very vague. A YouTube blogger nicknamed Anomaly addressed the situation.

Anomaly calculated that the developers get 1.8 million dollars a day, 54 million a month and 667 million a year from opening CS:GO cases.

So in 2022, Valve spent only 0.34% of its case profits on prize money for the majors ($2.2 million). The prize money for each major averages out to only 63% of the company's daily revenue from opening cases.

On the night of February 10, the developers of the shooting game released a new update with 17 new skins, a capsule and several music tracks.

Earlier, CS:GO again broke the record for peak online on Steam - the figures amounted to 1.324 million players.
